facility as a: SENIOR PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST You will be responsible for developing
sourcing and contract negotiation strategies for the
acquisition of goods and services for capital related
projects; managing ongoing supplier relationships;
proactively resolving discrepancies/problems in contract
execution; developing RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, Bid Analysis,
Contracts and Supply Agreements and Sourcing Plans;
analyzing market trends; and identifying cost savings
opportunities. BA/BS and a minimum of 8 years of
relevant procurement experience with complex capital
projects required. Experience must include implementing
Strategic Sourcing Strategies. ERP system knowledge
(preferably SAP) and experience with e-Procurement tools
is preferred. Professional certification desired (C.P.M).
Must have excellent skills in problem solving, project
management, communication and customer service. Talecris offers a competitive salary
