Title: Market Sector Procurement Manager - E&P IT Applications

Job Location: Houston, TX, US

The IT&S Function is currently undertaking a significant transformation of its applications support and development landscape. The transformation will be enabled by a) The consolidation of a significant part of the existing applications portfolio into an IT&S Function level market engagement which will be completed by 2Q09 and b) the establishment of Segment level IT&S sourcing strategies. This role will be accountable for providing procurement leadership to E&P IT&S including:- The establishment of the necessary vision and strategy consistent with E&P IT&S business goals; The development and execution of sourcing plans consistent with set strategies; Management of E&P IT&S strategic suppliers/vendors; The leadership of a US-UK procurement team which supports E&P IT&S.

Job Dimensions:
•A staff of circa 3-4 procurement professionals based in Houston and Sunbury
•Procurement accountability for 3rd party spend ~$200m
•Executive stakeholder engagement - in particular the VP IT&S E&P and extended leadership team
•Manage a budget of circa $1.5m

Qualifications

•Experience in Procurement in a blue chip environment
•Experience working in a leadership position
•Experience in leading and motivating high performance teams
•Experience of working cross culturally
•Experience working in the applications development and support space
