Title: Market Sector Procurement Manager - IT Commodities

Job Location: Houston, TX, US

This role is accountable for providing procurement leadership across the hardware, software and telecoms categories including:- The establishment of the necessary vision and strategy consistent with IT&S business goals; The development and execution of sourcing plans consistent with set strategies; Commercial management of strategic suppliers/vendors; The leadership of a US-UK procurement team which supports IT&S.

Job Dimensions:
•A staff of circa 4 procurement professionals based in Houston and Sunbury
•Procurement accountability for 3rd party spend ~$650m
•Executive stakeholder engagement
•Manage a budget of circa $1.5m

Qualifications

•Experience in Procurement in a blue chip environment
•Experience working in a leadership position
•Experience in leading and motivating high performance teams
•Experience of working cross culturally
•Procurement experience across one or more of hardware, software and telecoms.

Further, Indirect Procurement's efforts are supported by a suite of procurement process and systems that allow for effective market engagements, contract development and management, purchasing activities and supplier relationship and performance management.
