PHARMACY BUYER

Position is located at our Grand Rapids, MI Headquarters.

Candidates outside the Grand Rapids area, will be required to relocate.

The individual selected for this position will be responsible for Pharmacy buying.

Responsibilities include:

• Generic medication purchasing
• Generic medication contracting for direct and indirect
• Regulatory compliance, both state and federal
• eCSOS (electronic narcotic ordering)
• ARCOS (DEA controlled substance reporting)
• Financial performance of the prescription area
• Industry analysis and forecasting
• Leadership reporting

Ideal candidate must possess the following:

• Registered Pharmacist
• Previous purchasing and contracting experience
• Experience with pharmacy regulatory issues and organizations
• Superior negotiation skills
• Effectively manage conflict to achieve desired business results
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload
• Effective listening and verbal communication skills
