We are currently seeking a talented Senior Procurement Specialist to join our organization.

In this position, you’ll be responsible for:

-         Acting as a liaison between the Opting Group in Europe and the Americas business units

-         Working with purchasing leads in selecting, planning and executing regional initiatives that reduce costs and/or improve performance

-         Evaluating and monitoring contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations

-         Providing feedback regarding the performance of contracted suppliers

To qualify for this position, you must have:

-         Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred or Business

-         5-8 years’ experience in either an industrial or utility environment

-         At least 3 years’ experience in purchasing, preferably operational purchasing

-         Knowledge of purchasing laws and procedures

-         Excellent analytical, presentation and negotiation skills

-         Knowledge of finance and accounting practices

-         Competency with Microsoft Office

-         Valid passport and be willing to travel to Europe, North America, Central America and South America

-         Must be able to speak and write English and Portuguese

-         Business experience in North America and Brazil a plus
