Responsible for supply chain and§ internal production control
Plan, schedule, and coordinate departmental§ activities to quality requirements per Winergy Standards and Specifications, ISO9000:2000, and other wind energy standards.
Proactively develop vendor§ delivery plan.
Develop and publish metrics related to the organization as§ well for vendor base

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for planning§ process – internal and supply chain.
Plan, schedule, and coordinate§ departmental purchasing and shop floor production activities to fulfill orders, meet inventory requirements, and deliver manufactured products in a timely fashion to customer.
• Including logistics and systems data maintenance
§ Enter and maintain internal sales orders and related in the SAP system
§ Develop process flows to improve delivery performance at vendor base
Follow§ and enforce established procedures and approved processes
Assist all§ departments in developing and maintaining a high standard of in process quality.
Develop and regulate quality process at vendor base and perform§ regular audits with assistance from Quality Assurance Manager.
Develop§ plan, establish and refine processes and audit to meet or exceed the ISO9000 requirements.
Develop comprehensive metrics on assuring on time, quality§ and price competitive delivery.
Coordinate activities with all department§ managers to ensure customer satisfaction.
All other assignments as§ needed.

Requirements:
Requires a B.S. or BA degree or equivalent§ and 5 + years of progressive planning or purchasing experience in manufacturing or related environment.
knowledge of ISO9000 and other quality§ standards.
Will have a thorough knowledge of all purchasing techniques, and§ related skills. With proven track record in a manufacturing or related company.
Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and§ specifications.
Must be data oriented with analytics capability.§
This§ position requires that the person be a highly organized, self-motivated, and driven individual who can work independently.
Must have strong leadership§ skills, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must be able§ to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations.
Lean or Six Sigma background preferred.§
Must be computer§ literate, preferably in SAP or other related ERP/MRP. As well as Microsoft Office related products like Excel, Word, Windows, etc
