Responsible for ensuring procurement related
processes and procedures are consistently
implemented thoughout the Operating Company.
Benchmark procurement related processes and
procedures to derive and implement measures for
continuous process improvement.
Ensure procurement related processes and
procedures conform and are conducted within
Siemens AG procurement guidelines, and meet state
and federal regulations.
Communicate with Corporate, Division and other
procurement entities to ensure awareness of
policies, guidelines and controlling/reporting
requirements.
Complete complex reports of defined information
to improve issue transparency. Identify and
resolve process and policy issues using
analytical and communication skills.
Education: BS in Business Administration
required, MBA preferred
Qualifications:
8 plus years in strategic sourcing of products in
a manufacturing environment
Experience managing a strategic procurement
department including process, controls and
procedures
Proven ablity to drive compliance to process,
procedures and controls
Demonstated experience working with a global
network of suppliers
CPM- Certified Procurement Manager preferred
Strong analytical skills
Demonstrated and proven ability to develop and
sell value propositions.
Proficient in MS office; Must have advanced
skills in Excel and MS Project
Experience with SAP
Excellent ability to lead cross-functional teams
