Rolls-Royce is pleased to announce an opening for a Head of Materials Management in our Fort Worth, TX facility.

The successful candidate will:

Manage the Supply Chain to provide the business with the material and services required to meet the Customer needs, with the flexibility to react to changing demands. Manage the flow of material into, and out of the facility, stores, inventory management, Gate 2 Work in Progress and kitting as an integrated materials management process. Continuously improve the performance of the materials management process to reduce process costs, increase service levels and achieve stock turnover and working capital targets. Forecast material and service requirements to satisfy committed plans and schedules. Ensure business-wide adherence to defined professional materials management standards, processes & systems. Be a key participant in determining repair & overhaul strategies for the business.

Position requirements include:

BASIC: 5+ years of aero engine repair & overhaul industry experience required with a Materials Management focus. Prior experience Implementing or operating Class “A” ERP systems required. Experience managing a unionized shop floor workforce required.

PREFERRED: BS/BA degree preferred. American Production & Inventory Control certification or equivalent preferred. Six-Sigma trained (green belt certified) or equivalent preferred. Experience working within operations and across the supply-chain, Engine Component Repair management, SAP preferred. Strong process management capability – process definition, compliance & improvement (including Lean) and strong leadership and relationship management skills desired.
