The City of Houston
is seeking a Procurement Specialist. The successful
candidate will work in the Strategic Purchasing Division
of the Finance and Administration Department. This
person will be responsible for coordinating various
procurement activities working in the SAP system.
Some duties include responsibility for data analysis,
buying/purchasing, report generation and web base
functions. The successful candidate will also
maintain service contracts in accordance with City and
State procurement procedures and regulations as well as
develop bid documents, conduct pre-bid conferences and
prepare and issue letters of clarification, as necessary,
to publish bid documents/specifications. The
successful candidate must have a working knowledge of the
SAP system to be considered. Please
