| CONTRACT MANUFACTURING SPECIALIST Description: The Contract Manufacturing Specialist will support the Co-man Business Managers with financial detail required to support budget adherence and track financial risks and opportunities against the budget. This includes PPV to budget trend tracking and analysis, vendor pricing changes and follow-up with ingredient and packaging procurement, provides support necessary to drive cost savings and provides support on vendor certification for diversity spend dollars (Tier I & Tier 2). Responsibilities include: - Support and coordination to ensure on-time contract completion for new projects and contract renewals. - Responsible for getting all contract appendices for each contract working cross-functionally across supply chain. - Provide Co-man business unit managers with project tracking information and data collection systems during product commercialization phase and post start production performance. - Supports supplier relationship/measurement process. - Assemble and maintain company profile information necessary to support strategic sourcing efforts. - Provide Co-man packaging and raw materials interfacing with procurement. - Support Procurement e-business efforts. - Coordinate supplier transitions to EDI, ERS, and EFT through Vendor Master Verification and trouble shooting EDI errors through PO and Contract re-generation. - Generate Purchase orders as required. - Responsible for implementation of Procurement-related SAP initiatives such as SAP upgrade testing, identification of new process flows in conjunction with Sarbanes Oxley process requirements, supplier updates or additions. Kellogg EOE M/F/V/D Position Requirements: A Bachelors degree is strongly preferred in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or Procurement. Additional areas of education that would be considered are as follows; Food and Packaging Sciences, Finance, Legal, IT or the equivalent previous experience in one of the areas listed. With a Bachelors Degree, a minimum of 3 - 5 years of practical experience in food manufacturing, supply chain, packaging/processing technologies, finance, legal, IT, Procurement, Customer Service or other business related role is required. If no degree, minimum 7 - 9 years experience in food manufacturing, supply chain, packaging/processing technologies, finance, legal, IT, Procurement, Customer Service or other business related role is needed. Computer systems knowledge including SAP, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Access knowledge also preferred. Travel required - 10% Required to be available 24/7 as emergency contact for CoMan plant personnel and internal Kellogg Supply Chain personnel to avoid plant downtime.
